Hi, I'm Ania
Why I Created Low-Carb for Blood Pressure
I've lived with high blood pressure for more than 30 years and am a breast cancer survivor.
This website shares my journey with low-carb living, blood pressure support, and healthier everyday habits.

My Story
My journey with high blood pressure began more than 30 years ago during my first pregnancy.
Over the years, I received plenty of advice about what I should and shouldn't eat, how I should exercise, and what I needed to do to improve my health. Some of it was helpful. Some of it was confusing. Much of it felt difficult to maintain in everyday life.
In 2024, I was diagnosed with breast cancer. That experience encouraged me to pay even closer attention to the everyday habits that affect long-term health, including nutrition, movement, and blood pressure. It made me look more closely at my overall health and the choices I was making each day.
As I learned more about low-carb eating, blood sugar, insulin, electrolytes, and lifestyle habits, I began looking for a simpler approach. Not perfection. Not extreme rules. Just practical changes that could fit into real life.
That's why I created Low-Carb for Blood Pressure: to share practical food ideas, simple habits, and clear guidance that people can actually follow.
What if I told you...
I'm Still Learning Too
High blood pressure can feel overwhelming when every expert seems to offer different advice.
For years, I tried to make sense of recommendations about food, weight, exercise, medication, and lifestyle changes. Some advice helped. Some created more questions than answers.
As I explored the relationship between nutrition, metabolic health, and blood pressure, I became increasingly interested in the role everyday food choices might play.
That curiosity eventually led me to explore low-carb nutrition in greater depth.
I am not a doctor or medical professional.
I am simply someone who enjoys researching health topics, learning from experience, and sharing practical information that may help others ask better questions and make more informed decisions.
Low-Carb for Blood Pressure is where I share what I'm learning along the way.
